Intelligent Power Control

The E3CONTROLTM products manage electrical loads based on time (calendar), environment (sensors) or simply manual inputs (Web, SMS, etc).

Extremely robust Powerline Communication (PLC) is used to remotely manage E3CONTROLTM Power Controllers.

Our field proven and very flexible Data Concentrator (Linux based) acts as master for all remote nodes and offers a built-in Webserver which can be customized to fulfill any energy management requirement.

The following features are currently available:

Manual Web Control

Remote electrical loads can be switched on and off via Powerline Communication through a very intuitive Web-Interface on the Data Concentrator. Attached loads (e.g. Streetlights, Machinery, etc) are continuously monitored. Power consumption but also power failures can be reported and detected.

Calendar Option

A calendar interface enables to manage E3CONTROLTM Intelligent Power Controllers remotely on a time schedule. Defined tasks are transmitted via PLC to the remote nodes and execute there at the requested time.

SMS Option

If an electrical load (Lamp, Motor, Device...) that is attached to a remote node fails, an automatically generated SMS will alerts the operator. It is also possible to send commands via SMS to the Data Concentrator to be executed (e.g. switch on/off remote loads via PLC).

Sensor Option

Events can also be sent to remote nodes via PLC based on environmental conditions such as temperature, luminosity, etc.

As the E3CONTROLTM system is open and flexible it is very simple to add other options as well (e.g. weather condition based events, etc).
